Artist to Lead OCC Blacksmithing Class

Leland Smith, a well-known Santa Ana artist and sculptor, will teach “Blacksmithing for Everyone” as part of Orange Coast College’s Extended Education summer program on Saturdays, July 11 through Aug. 15. The class meets from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the college’s Skill Center, Room 101. Students will design ornamental and functional objects using blacksmithing skills. No experience is necessary. Class fee is $225 for the six-week session.

When: Saturdays, July 11 – August 15 , 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Where: Orange Coast College, Skills Center, Room 101, 2701 Fairview Road, Costa Mesa
